Motorola Superphone Before Christmas!

If the Motorola superphone that their CEO, Sanjay Jha, revealed is planning to be released by the end of this year actually makes it to market, the ’smartphone’ will be a thing of the past. I mean who will want smart when they could have super? So what is this Motorola superphone supposed to be able to offer that current smartphones won’t have that will make it so much better? Let’s take a look.
Smartphones VS. THE Motorola SUPERphone
No current smartphone, not even the iPhone 4, will have the power and processing potential that the Motorola superphone is rumored to possess. A 2 GHz chip will be quite enough to literally double the current output of the 1 GHz chip that is in the most powerful phones available now. Talk about a major picker upper for speed and storage capabilities. All your programs will be working faster and smoother.
If the FROYO 2.2 O.S. , Android’s newest operating system, is ready, the Motorola superphone could be the first phone to have this preinstalled. Nvidia’s Tegra chip for graphics that are extremely clear and crisp should be included as well. Plus you can expect it to have Flash 10.1 hardware acceleration so that you can see Flash graphics and movies on your phone, which even the iPhone 4 does not have.
In order to keep up with current smartphones such as the iPhone 4 from Apple, the Motorola superphone will also incorporate a built in gyroscope so that you have a full 6 axis controllable phone, which is very useful for specific apps and definitely for pretty much any game. They also plan to include such apps and programming controls as Swype(for simpler keyboard controlling) and Blockbuster Video offering videos to directly rent or purchase right from the phone. Since it will almost certainly offer one of the best new features smartphones have right now, wireless tethering, you would be able to download a movie to your phone, and then stream it wireless to your T.V., computer, or any other wireless device you wanted to connect it with to watch.
The Motorola superphone should be ready to purchase by the holiday season of 2010 according to projections, but no word has been made as to whether that will be Thanksgiving or Christmas time. No matter when it comes out, it at least gives everyone another phone to be excited about besides Apple’s iPhone 4. Deterring buyers from the release of the iPhone 4 with the announcement of the upcoming superphone from Motorola may have been part of their plan, but I think it’s safe to assume that we can start getting ready now.
